My name is Maxime, I have been a professional photographer for several years and I come from the Toulouse region in France. Having grown up in the countryside and spent a lot of time observing nature, I developed a passion for wildlife from a very young age, particularly insects as they are within easy reach. As a teenager, I received my first camera as a gift from my parents, which allowed me to discover macro photography and look at nature from another angle.

 

Although photography continues to follow me during my studies, I put the discipline aside to concentrate on the field of ecology and the preservation of biodiversity. It was only after the end of my studies that photography took back its life place in my life, after a year-long trip to New Zealand. There, I discovered landscapes and starry skies of incredible diversity and chose to specialize in astrophotography.

 

Back in France, I worked for a few years in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park and developed what I learned on the other side of the world in a completely different setting. After several trips and participation in various events, I now wish to share my skills and knowledge in a region that I know well: the Pyrenees. I decided to supervise and lead excursions to discover and photograph the richness of landscapes, skies and forms of life.
